The 17th edition of the Forum des Rois de la Supply Chain competition came to a close on January 12, 2023, at the Théâtre de la Maison de la Mutualité in Paris. The C-Logistics/GMR Safety team was awarded the special “Coup de Pouce” prize at this friendly and festive awards ceremony! The solution presented: a connected jack stand kit to secure uncoupled trailers at loading docks.
In short, the connected kit makes it possible to effectively secure a trailer uncoupled from its tractor at the loading dock, using a jack or support stand. With its servo-control system and intelligent sensors, this kit offers optimum safety during transshipment operations, as well as being reliable and easy to install.
The competition invited companies to submit an entry with a recent project that they consider to be successful and/or innovative in terms of Supply Chain. A total of 23 projects were compiled for the 2023 edition and judged by a panel of 11 leading supply chain experts. There are three prize categories: Coup de cœur, Prix de l’innovation and Grand Prix.
