The Powerchock™ 3 - Portable locking system

The Powerchock™ 3 is a simple, manual wheel restraint system for securing vehicles at loading docks.

The Powerchock™ 3 is a simple, effective and easy-to-install vehicle-restraint system. It includes a flexible rod working in conjunction with a 16 in. high-tensile steel chock and a ground fixed retaining plate. Our system secures vehicles at the wheel up to a distance of 15 ft. from the dock.

Equipped with an optical wheel sensor to confirm proper placement, the system is manually armed by the dock worker (optional door interface). Powerchock™ 3 is linked to both audio and visual communication systems.

THE Powerchock™ 5 - Ergonomic locking system

The Powerchock™ 5 is a wheel restraint system for securing vehicles, equipped with an ergonomic arm to position the chock.

The Powerchock™ 5 is the flagship system designed and manufactured by GMR Safety in North America. The articulated arm makes precise placement of the 19” high-tensile steel chock on the anchored retaining plate almost effortless and functions consistently up to 14 feet.

It is equipped with 3 sensors (arm, wheel, & dock) that are linked to an audio-visual communication system.

What sets it apart:

• High strength steel double height wheel chock attached to an ergonomic articulating arm or cart.
• Galvanized steel floor restraint plate made of 3 sections totaling 12 feet, attached to the landing area. Possibility of additional sections.
• The blocking plate has an 11-inch section for LCVs and another 16-inch section for heavy vehicles. A sensor system determines the type of vehicle and the portion of chock to be positioned.
