The Melymax steel door

The high quality Melymax steel doors are robust and energy efficient. They are carefully assembled in our workshop with hand-picked materials and custom-designed components.  Their sustainability is then increased and your comfort multiplied.

Entirely manufactured in Quebec and built for our climate, the Melymax door represents a wise choice.  The injected polyurethane foam and threefold weather stripping ensure an optimum insulation as well as a very high weather resistance.  Its pine frame assembled with screws instead of clips, door sill thicker than standard doors and its ball hinges offer for their part, one of the strongest structure.

1. The double weather stripping around the door is available in white or in black. On the handle side, it is enhanced by a PVC CoEx end cap, providing a third weather stripping.

2. The ball hinges ensure fluidity and softness while preventing door creaking for years to come. They are available in seven different colors. (Polished brass, antique brass, antique nickel, satin nickel, satin chrome, black and Venetian bronze.)

3. The paint carried out at the factory benefits from a 25-year guarantee and is offered in a wide variety of colors.

4. The optional 22 gauge steel ensures an unparalleled robustness. As the steel is 30% thicker, it considerably reduces the risk of dents and deformations.

5. The extruded and anodised aluminum door sill is made in Quebec. Thicker, it is strengthened with wood and fortified by a thermal barrier, both specially developed by Melymax.

6. Our unique PVC and Aluminum thermo moulding with a coextruded weather stripping are offered in two models, colonial or contemporary for greater insulation and durability.

The Melymax Plus door offers you all the benefits of the Melymax, that means a robust and energy efficient high quality door, carefully assembled in our workshop with 100% Quebec hand-picked materials and custom-designed components.  The injected polyurethane foam and threefold weather stripping ensure an optimum insulation as well as a very high weather resistance.  Its pine frame assembled with screws instead of clips, door sill thicker than standard doors offer for their part, one of the strongest structure.
